I love this series of pictures of JC. Something had always made me curious. These were made early in the series, as BTS….not from the show. Notice the popped collar. Is it a JC ‘thing’ that they incorporated in the Reese’s “look”?

Earlier learned that Shaw’s character will become a series regular in season 3 of POI. We don’t know exactly what that means for the character, but that we’ll be seeing more of her.

To me, hatred of Sam Shaw is totally out of proportion to the amount of screen time and/or back story we have on her. She is being vilified before she had had a chance to prove she is a viable character for the show.
The show is canon. The characters & their back stories are set. Any relationship between the characters, outside of what we are explicitly shown on the tv is pure conjecture. Shipdom by it’s very name is conjecture. It is something we want to
see, fantasize about seeing but is not canon. I have my own ship & I keep my postings pretty much within a group a like minded people. I would never ‘dis’ anyone about their ship. It is not my right to do so. If they are as passionate about their ship, as I am about mine, why in the world would I think I could change their mind? Why would I want to?
With all the vitriol being thrown at the character Sam Shaw, I see a subtext of threatened shipdoms. But there is no threat! We know nothing about this character and where she will fit in. The whole series is in a state of flux due to the fact that the machine controls itself and decides who gets what info. Season 3 is wide open and I can’t wait to see what wild ride we’re going to have!

OMG! You made me cry! This scene……….this scene was so unexpected and so beautifully written and acted. Almost no physical movement, even Reese’s response to Shaw’s ‘you knew her’ was a small, barely there, head nod. The dialogue was sparse, the tone was muted……could not have been better. So much emotion in this scene but it played out in OUR minds not on the screen…..damn good writing & acting.
